Wild Painted Dogs
The Wild Painted Dogs Project has been operating in Zimbabwe for more than 10 years. It's main goal is to conserve and increase the range and number of Wild Painted Dogs that are Africa's most endangered carnivore, totalling less than 4000 in the wild. This project has achieved this through anti-poaching and community outreach programmes. During this period the project has also achieved considerable success and acclaim, with YOUR HELP by facilitating an increase in the national pack population and also for its community development and education work.

Today there is already a project underway to fully equip a veterinary clinic, which will enable the treatment and recovery of injured and sick dogs. The project aims to return any dogs, which have had to be transported to the clinic for treatment, back to the wild. A further aim is for the clinic to serve as a base from which regular mobile clinics can provide a veterinary service to the local community, to treat their livestock and other domestic animals.

WE NEED YOUR HELP.
As general fund raisers, PAINT, a 'not for profit' organisation, will be contributing to the CLINIC EQUIPMENT appeal. Go to EVENTS to see how you can participate in PAINT'S fundraising efforts. Go to DONATE to pledge your much needed funds.

The aim is to make The Wild Painted Dog a flagship for conservation in this region.
